What we believe about…

There is only one true God who is the eternal King, Creator and Redeemer of all that is. He is perfectly holy, just, loving and is the embodiment of truth. He has revealed Himself to be eternally self- existent – one being in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
God is in a good mood!

Jesus is the virgin born Son of God who was crucified but rose from the dead and ascended to the highest place of authority.
Jesus took on the form of a man, that he might be the perfect sacrifice for the sin of all of mankind.

The first man, Adam, transgressed the command of God to not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. As a result the process of death and separation from God entered Adam and all of his descendants. Now, because of Jesus, anyone can be restored to fellowship with God through repenting, believing and receiving Jesus as their Savior and Lord.

Through the grace of God, by faith in Jesus, we are forgiven, made righteous, released from Old Covenant law, have open access to God, have a new nature, a new identity and have come into a new family. Christ frees us from sin, sickness, defeat, guilt, punishment, poverty, oppression and aimlessness.

The Holy Spirit, convicts, regenerates, justifies, and adopts us into God’s family.
The Holy Spirit is a deposit guaranteeing our glorious inheritance as believers (Eph. 1:14). By the inner working of the Holy Spirit, the Christian is enabled to live a glorious life and minister supernaturally. The baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 1:4-8 and 2:4 is poured out on believers that they might have power to be witnesses

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and our final authority of truth. We acknowledge dependence upon the Holy Spirit for the accurate interpretation and application of scripture. Jesus, the living word, reveals himself to us through scripture.

The Church is of highest value to Christ and His priority in bringing all things in Heaven and Earth under His headship.
The Church consists of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. It is God’s household, a family, a community of love built around Jesus. The Church has a glorious mandate to preach this good news of Jesus, and bring the Kingdom to earth.

We believe in the five-fold gifts of the Holy Spirit: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. (Eph 4:11) These gifts are to equip and mature the local church for its effective ministry. We believe it is vital for these gifts to operate in and through the church.
We also believe the local church operates in formidable partnership with other local churches to transform a city for Christ. We are a blessing to Johannesburg!
