Hi everybody

Happy new year! Hope you had a great festive season and some good R&R.

It was so good to gather again this last Sunday after a long December break. Worship was incredible. And a great time to re-connect with each other over a cuppa (not to mention Rosie's fabulous brownies).

Here's to an incredible bountiful 2014 to you all!!

Lisa and I are carrying so much in our hearts for this year. There is so much that Central Parks has come to be as a community over the last 7 years: a place of intimate worship, authentic community, a hunger for His presence, the journey towards wholeness, plunging the depths of this glorious gospel, a strongly prophetic mantle and freedom in Christ, to mention a few. We never want to lose or neglect these 'cultures' which underpin who we are as a people. Instead we want to steward and nurture as best we can what God has entrusted to us (download last Sunday's sermon for more of my heart on this).

Over the next few weeks Lisa and I will be sharing in more detail some of what is on our hearts for the year. Lets talk about it. Send your propehtic words, thoughts, etc that could help build the picture of what God is saying to us for 2014 and beyond.

Lisa and I love this community to bits and we are here for you.

On a sad note I wanted to let you know of the death of Mignon Coward. Bryan and Mignon were members of Central Parks in the early days before they left for Cape Town. Mignon died of heart failure last Tuesday, 7 January. There will be a memorial service for her in Pretoria on Saturday 18 January at 11hoo at Oosterlig Kerk, Lea Street 469 Waterkloofglen.

He is so worthy!

With much love
